Lauren Brollier Newton
All right, well, welcome to the abundant coach Lauren Newton here. Super, super thrilled to bring you this episode because the this episode is something that you asked for. We were getting requests for I’m not sure I can really have it all. There’s a part of me that thinks that that’s just something people make up or I want that, but my life has shown me that I can’t have that yet.
00;00;54;02 – 00;01;15;04
Lauren Brollier Newton
So the topic of today’s podcast is success, love, happiness, fulfillment. Can you really have that all? Can you really create that? Well, here’s the great news. One thing that you know that you’ve heard me say before, that I deeply believe in, is that as a coach, we don’t do anything. We don’t ask our clients to do anything that we’re not willing to do.
00;01;15;06 – 00;01;33;25
Lauren Brollier Newton
And so I can tell you that I’ve, I have turned this upside down and all the way around for myself and created in my own life. I’ve studied with this faculty and the institute have all created ways to create this in their own life and show others how to do it. So I am here to tell you, yes, it’s real, but the true answer of can I have success?
00;01;33;25 – 00;01;49;21
Lauren Brollier Newton
Love, happiness, fulfillment? Can I really have it all? Is it depends. It actually depends on what you’re willing to give up. And we’ll give we’ll get into that in a second, because you’re probably thinking to yourself, wait, I want to have it all. What are you talking about? Giving something up. We’ll talk about it in a moment because I want to start with this quote.
00;01;49;23 – 00;02;15;02
Lauren Brollier Newton
The quote is the secret to having it all is knowing that you already have it. So let’s unpack that one and everything I just shared. Okay, so first and foremost, if you have the desire to have it all, the truth is that you don’t really want it all. You don’t want every single possibility open to life. For example, I don’t want to live in a skyscraper in the middle of New York City.
00;02;15;04 – 00;02;31;28
Lauren Brollier Newton
That would not be my dream come true. I live on five acres in Wyoming, and I usually don’t see anybody but my husband and a deer for for most of the week. So the truth is, the all has to be something that lights you up. Feels in harmony with you, something that you would most love in your life, in all these different areas.
00;02;32;00 – 00;02;58;02
Lauren Brollier Newton
So you don’t want it all. And and I know that sounds obvious. And you’re going, oh, Lauren, but here’s the deal. A lot of people have told themselves that they want it all because they see it on Facebook or Instagram, or because somebody else have it, or because they were told they want it. So the first step in this equation is getting really, really clear on what you would actually love and really trying it on, trying on all different possibilities.
00;02;58;09 – 00;03;10;22
Lauren Brollier Newton
I was talking to a good friend of mine the other day who was also a coach, and she’s like, it’s like rolling the dice and trying on, oh, do I like a do I like a five and a two? Do I like a six and a six? Do I like a one and a two? Try on different possibilities for your life and for your future.
00;03;10;22 – 00;03;30;03
Lauren Brollier Newton
Try it on like you would try on a part, you know, a New Year’s Eve dress or something like, try it on, see if it fits for you. When I try it on. Lots of different possibilities for, for example, where I want to live. My husband and I try that on we, we were talking about lots of different places before we finally landed on this area of Wyoming.
00;03;30;06 – 00;03;50;04
Lauren Brollier Newton
What would feel good to us? What would really fit? Where do we feel most expanded? We even took a road trip where we were thinking that rather than living in Wyoming, although we had tossed that around this one idea, we kept landing on Lake Tahoe. It felt expansive, and we talked about, you know, all around Lake Tahoe, California, or when we got there, we actually tried it on.
00;03;50;04 – 00;04;10;26
Lauren Brollier Newton
And when I say we got there, we just vacationed there. We didn’t move there. But when we got there and we tried it on, we looked at different neighbor neighborhoods and we imagined ourself there. Something about it. It didn’t feel expansive. And then we went to on a road trip from basically San Francisco Bay area all the way to, I think we went all the way to South Dakota and back, and we landed that, yes, it was Wyoming.
00;04;10;26 – 00;04;27;26
Lauren Brollier Newton
It was northwest Wyoming that felt most life giving, most expansive, most in love with. So it’s very important that when you’re thinking about the different opportunities for your life of, can I really have it all? Well, what’s that all? Okay, so that’s number one. What is the all for you? Because you don’t want every experience. You don’t want someone else’s life.
00;04;27;26 – 00;04;48;01
Lauren Brollier Newton
And there are certain experiences you would be like, no thank you. I was funny the other night. My husband and I were watching, a part like, party festivities on, TV, New Year’s festivities on TV. And there was, like, a party, a night time party, and everybody’s dancing around it. And I was like, that is my worst nightmare.
00;04;48;03 – 00;05;18;07
Lauren Brollier Newton
Like, if you put me there, it would be for a serious hell. It would be for torts. Or like I do not love that. So like, this is what I’m saying. You don’t want it all. There’s certain experiences you would love and there’s certain experiences you were like, yeah, that would be hell on earth. Okay, the second thing to note is that when you get yourself into this conversation of, can I really have it all in particular as a coach, is that just a lie that people tell in their Facebook ads, or can I really have the time freedom, the money, freedom that when I say the answer is it depends.
00;05;18;09 – 00;05;37;28
Lauren Brollier Newton
It depends on how rigorous you’re willing to be with your own mindset, because you can have it all in terms of your business. If you hustle 24 seven and work 80 hours a day, that’s one way to build it. But then you’re going to be work rich and you’re going to be family poor. So this idea of having it all is that you’re going to have to get really, really clear.
00;05;38;00 – 00;06;05;28
Lauren Brollier Newton
You’re not going to have to I mean, if you want at all, then you’ll be required to get really, really clear about what it is you would love. And then here’s the key. Say no to everything. That’s not that. There’s a beautiful story. I don’t know if it really happened or if it’s a mythological sort of story or, or whatever, but there’s a story that goes that someone asked Michelangelo, how he took a big piece of granite or stone and created something like the David.
00;06;06;01 – 00;06;28;24
Lauren Brollier Newton
And it said that he look, he said, I all I did was I looked at that marble and I simply cut away everything that wasn’t David. And I love that. I love that because it’s going to be very important for each of us that want to have it all, that we look at everything that’s not that. And we have a willingness to cut it away.
00;06;28;27 – 00;06;46;06
Lauren Brollier Newton
All right. Yeah, I can work 80 hours a week. I don’t want to do that. So when I’m asked to do a million tasks or when I’m causing myself to sit at my desk, or when I’m causing myself to stress and hustle and do all that, those things, that doesn’t feel good to me. I have to have the willingness to look at that and say, no, that’s not the way I’m going to build this coaching business.
00;06;46;08 – 00;07;08;19
Lauren Brollier Newton
I’m going to build this coaching business in 20 hours a week, doing what I love, traveling where I love with the people I love. And that’s the demand note that I am putting on the infinite. I’m putting this demand note on creation, on energy, because energy goes where it’s directed. And so when I built my company Soul Savvy as an example, I only worked 25 or 30 hours a week the whole time.
00;07;08;19 – 00;07;20;23
Lauren Brollier Newton
Now, there was one time when I took a dip and I noticed myself working like 12 hours a day, and that was short lived. I only did that for a couple weeks, and then I hired my first employee because I’m like, that is not the way I want to build. So you see how my mindset is working there.
00;07;20;26 – 00;07;38;14
Lauren Brollier Newton
I want to have the life I love. I’m going to have to make decisions for the things I want and saying no to the things that I don’t want and be very, very confident about that. And the way that you do that is you listen to the stories that you’re telling yourself. So if you’re telling yourself a story, it’s going to take all of this work to create this result.
00;07;38;20 – 00;08;02;25
Lauren Brollier Newton
Don’t tell yourself that story unless you want to take all of that work to create that result, because there’s infinite field of possibilities. One possibility is creating $1 million in 25 hours a week. There’s another possibility about creating $1 million in 80 hours a week. You get to decide actually, because once your mind gets on the frequency of, I’m doing this in 25 hours a week and it’s going to be $1 million, you’ll get 25 hours a week.
00;08;02;25 – 00;08;21;27
Lauren Brollier Newton
Ideas, and you’ll realize that you can do it easier, faster, more simply. I don’t know if I’ve told this story on this podcast, but I’m going to tell it again in case I have, because it’s important we have a system of transformation, a tool that we use all the time here at the Brave Thinking Institute. We train our coaches on it.
00;08;21;27 – 00;08;42;23
Lauren Brollier Newton
They teach their clients that we use it all around the institute, and it’s called the Brave Thinking Activation Process. And simply explain the brave thinking activation process is that you write down a question that’s very much in line with your vision, or what you’re wanting to create. So in this case, let’s just go with the what step can I take to create $1 million company in 25 hours a week?
00;08;42;25 – 00;08;59;15
Lauren Brollier Newton
And you really get yourself into the feeling tone of that result, really what that would feel like, how good that would feel, what my days would feel like, what my income would look like, the people I’d be helping. You really feel the feeling of that. And then you ask yourself the question and you write down every idea that you receive.
00;08;59;18 – 00;09;16;25
Lauren Brollier Newton
You’re not going to act on every idea. You’re just letting the flow of ideas come. Don’t filter the ideas. That’s where most people go wrong on this process. If they’re not following directions as they start to filter and what is filtering do, it gives you the same result you’ve always had. So you go and you start and you write down every idea you have without filter.
00;09;16;28 – 00;09;34;24
Lauren Brollier Newton
And then from there you look at the ideas and you look for the one that jumps off the page at you, or has some energy to it or some electricity to it doesn’t mean it’s not going to be a scary idea, doesn’t mean you’re going to love the idea. But there’s some something about that idea. As our master coach, Kirsten Wells, would say, there’s just something about that idea.
00;09;34;26 – 00;09;56;13
Lauren Brollier Newton
And then you act on that idea and you know that it’s going to take you somewhere because the energy expanded. Expanded energy creates expanded results. Constrictive energy creates constricted results. So I did this process for myself when I was building my coaching business. I wanted to get on 24 stages, 24 other people stages or meetings or events where I could be the speaker in a calendar year.
00;09;56;15 – 00;10;14;14
Lauren Brollier Newton
So I ask the highly calibrated question, what step can I take to generate 24 speaking engagements in 2019? This was back in 2019. So I write down that, and I brainstorm every single idea that comes to my mind. The only one that jumped off at the page at me. And this is what I mean when I say it’s not a to do list.
00;10;14;14 – 00;10;28;16
Lauren Brollier Newton
You’re not going to act on it. Every idea you’re going to look for the idea that has some energy to it, and the only idea that have energy to it was post a blog on LinkedIn. I didn’t use LinkedIn very much at the time. I mean, I had some connections, but I never post on there. I never went on there, I never logged on.
00;10;28;16 – 00;10;42;10
Lauren Brollier Newton
They’d send me the emails like, oh, you haven’t logged on for a while, but that was the one that jumped off the page at me. And I had a little blog that I posted on my website. Every time I sent out an email to my list, I would just simply post it on my website cause it was easy enough to do so.
00;10;42;10 – 00;10;59;18
Lauren Brollier Newton
It’s like, okay, fine, pick one of those blogs posted on LinkedIn. There was a part of my logical mind that was like, oh, what’s that going to do? What does that have to do with speaking engagements? But I was well trained by this faculty of Brave Thinking Institute in this process, enough to know that you don’t filter ideas, you go with the one that has energy because that’s what leads to results.
00;10;59;21 – 00;11;15;00
Lauren Brollier Newton
So I do that. I post my blog on LinkedIn and go about my day. Well, I see that I’ve received a message on LinkedIn from a guy that I knew from networking who was also a coach, but he was more of an executive coach than a life coach. And he said, hey, we haven’t connected in a while. I want to meet and have coffee.
00;11;15;00 – 00;11;37;14
Lauren Brollier Newton
I’m like, sure. That’s something very common that you do when you’re in networking groups is you just meet with the other person. Is there any way I can serve your business? Very common practice. But as I was getting ready to go have coffee with this guy, my light bulb went off in my brain and I remembered that he organized a leadership summit and I’m like, oh my gosh, I could be the keynote speaker or the opening speaker at this leadership summit.
00;11;37;14 – 00;11;57;18
Lauren Brollier Newton
I’m like, oh my gosh, this is the crazy thing, you guys about how energy actually works is there is absolutely, without a doubt, a greater consciousness. You could call it God, spirit, something bigger that created this universe that knows all things. Now you can call it source, you can call it life. You can call it science. I don’t care what name you put on it.
00;11;57;18 – 00;12;22;04
Lauren Brollier Newton
That’s not really the point of this. It’s really that there is something greater that knows what each of us is doing, that that can help us with the ideas. I truly believe that those ideas come from source itself. Why did why did the LinkedIn idea pop out at me? And I didn’t even connect it with speaking engagements, but then I but then as I get further down the road, I realize, oh, this guy that sent me the message that wanted to meet runs the leadership Summit.
00;12;22;06 – 00;12;38;12
Lauren Brollier Newton
Something greater than me knew that. I knew that that would happen, that I would post on LinkedIn, that this would get back to me, that there was something greater at work here. And that’s why the brave thinking activation process works so well, because it connects you to the infinite side of your nature that’s connected to ultimately, all things.
00;12;38;14 – 00;12;53;08
Lauren Brollier Newton
And so I get, I go, oh my gosh, now here’s where the freaky part comes out. And this is what I mean. If you can’t take everything with you, if you want to have it all, meaning I can’t have a negative story running in my mind if I want to have an expansive result, I can’t take everything with me.
00;12;53;10 – 00;13;07;22
Lauren Brollier Newton
So remember, my idea is to get 24 speaking engagements, and when I ran my company, I only did it in 25 or 30 hours a week because I wanted time. Freedom. So keep this in mind as you’re listening to this. I’m getting ready. That morning, I remember because I was still living in my parents basement at the time.
00;13;07;22 – 00;13;24;05
Lauren Brollier Newton
I had this little bathroom and I had like, this old oak, set of mirrors on the bathroom above the bathroom sink. You know, where you open up the cabinets. And I remember looking in the mirror and being like, okay, you have to ask him if you can keynote this leadership summit. And of course, all the fears came up.
00;13;24;05 – 00;13;41;17
Lauren Brollier Newton
Who are you? You’ve never keynote at anything. At that point in my career, I’d never keynote at anything. I’m afraid. Who are you? He’s going to ask you if you’ve spoken anywhere before and you haven’t really. And blah, blah, blah. Okay, pause. I can’t take that with me if I want the result. All right. I look at myself in the mirror and I said, Lauren, you want to be the million dollar coach?
00;13;41;21 – 00;14;01;22
Lauren Brollier Newton
You want to do it in a way that has time, freedom. What step do you have to take today to have that result? Oh, I’m going to have to ask him about the keynote. Yes, because he life isn’t going to happen to you folks. It is not going to happen to you. You’re not just going to be like, oh, I created the life with it all by just sitting on my couch twiddling my thumbs.
00;14;01;25 – 00;14;17;22
Lauren Brollier Newton
Life happens with you and through you. And so I go to this coffee. I’m nervous the whole time. We’re just having a casual conversation. I’m not asking him. I know in the back of my mind I want to ask him because that’s the person I want to be, because I want the result. But I don’t ask him, at first.
00;14;17;22 – 00;14;35;00
Lauren Brollier Newton
But then we kind of get to the end of our conversation and I say, you know, I’ve been thinking about this. The guy’s name was Michael. I’ve been thinking about this, Michael. And I know that you run a leadership summit, and I’ve been thinking, if there’s any way that I can serve your audience, if I can bring some inspiration, some motivation to your audience, I would love to serve them.
00;14;35;00 – 00;14;51;22
Lauren Brollier Newton
If you think that that would be helpful. And he says this is his response, which I think is hilarious. You would do that for us. Like, this is so funny. I’ve built up this story in my mind that he’s going to think I’m a total ass for for asking him this question. It really has responses. Oh wow. Thank you.
00;14;51;22 – 00;15;08;26
Lauren Brollier Newton
You would do that for us? I’m like yes. He’s like done, let’s do it. So I feel great. But then he asks me another question. He asks me, why do you love speaking? And I just share with him from my heart that I love knowing that there’s somebody in the audience who needs to hear what I’m sharing today.
00;15;08;28 – 00;15;24;10
Lauren Brollier Newton
I love knowing that I’m helping someone who maybe felt like me when I started. I love knowing that I’m really good at organizing information, so I might be helping somebody, someone with a step by step process. I love that. And then he looks at me and he’s an older gentleman. He says, you know, I would like to retire.
00;15;24;12 – 00;15;45;29
Lauren Brollier Newton
So I have 18 speaking engagements actually already booked that I don’t want. Would you like them? So let’s go back to the question I asked when I was doing the brain thinking activation process. What steps can I take to generate 24 speaking engagements in 2019? I’m leaving this coffee with the 18 speaking engagements he doesn’t want, plus the summit.
00;15;45;29 – 00;16;04;02
Lauren Brollier Newton
So I left that one meeting with 19 speaking engagements. Can you have it all? The answer is yes, but not the common hour way that we’ve been trained to do it, that we have to work hard and hustle and put our claw marks in everything, because some people would say, oh, it’s going to take me all year. And 5000 phone calls to book 24 speaking engagements.
00;16;04;02 – 00;16;28;08
Lauren Brollier Newton
Yeah, that’s one way to do it. But if you do it, following the energy, following your gut, knowing that it can be easier, faster, that could just take one meeting. If you keep your mind open to those kind of possibilities, that you could do it in one one swoop. Then it happens much faster than you ever imagined. And so can you have it all?
00;16;28;08 – 00;16;43;13
Lauren Brollier Newton
Yes, if you’re willing to let go of the hustle, the push energy that has to look like this, oh, this is going to be hard. If you’re willing to let go of that. You can’t have it all. And let me go back to this idea that we are connected to a source that knows the easiest, the fastest, the smoothest way for us.
00;16;43;14 – 00;17;05;04
Lauren Brollier Newton
But we have to listen to the ideas that come. That’s where the free will part comes in. If you get yourself connected to a frequency, you will get everything on that frequency. I got myself connected to the frequency of 24 speaking engagements in 2019, in a way where I was willing to go with where the energy led me, and on that frequency there lived a result 19 speaking engagements in one day.
00;17;05;06 – 00;17;22;10
Lauren Brollier Newton
But that didn’t happen to me. I had to listen to that. I had to take it, I had to I had to take the action of asking for the speaking engagement. When that idea came to me and felt expansive, albeit scary. So you’re co-creating here? But the co part means that when source Infinite God, whatever word you want to put on it gives you an idea.
00;17;22;11 – 00;17;44;06
Lauren Brollier Newton
Emerson said. The first currency of the universe is an idea. You have to be willing to take it and run with it, and then it becomes easier, faster. And so I was able to book those 19 speaking engagements that took me total like between the brainstorming, the going to coffee, the making, the ask like three hours total. Now I’m going living my life in a way that feels good to me and having time with.
00;17;44;06 – 00;18;03;18
Lauren Brollier Newton
At that time we weren’t married yet. My boyfriend and doing fun things and going to my daughter’s field trips and blah blah blah because I knew I didn’t have to. I was trained by Mary Morrissey. In this institute, it doesn’t have to take 40 hours or 50 hours or five years. It can happen today if you keep your mind open to that possibility and you follow the energy.
00;18;03;21 – 00;18;27;07
Lauren Brollier Newton
But notice this is why I say something greater is at work. Something or someone, whatever your belief is, gave me the idea. Download the idea my brain. Post a blog on LinkedIn. By the way, it was something I’d never done before. I never posted a blog on LinkedIn and that was connecting me to someone who already had the speaking engagements that I got on the frequency of that didn’t want them anymore.
00;18;27;09 – 00;18;46;01
Lauren Brollier Newton
Who or what connected US source, if you want to call it science waves and particles. Thought waves. I don’t care what you call it, but look at that. So that is ultimately how you have it all is keeping your mind open to I don’t have to go about with the world’s ways of doing things. I don’t have to hustle.
00;18;46;01 – 00;19;03;16
Lauren Brollier Newton
I like, I really just full transparency. It’s okay if you love the word hustle. I get that it shows like motivation and willingness, but I don’t like hustle energy. I don’t want to feel like I have to hustle to create what I want to create. I want ease, I want flow, so whatever. You could be on the hustle frequency, that’s totally up to you.
00;19;03;16 – 00;19;21;21
Lauren Brollier Newton
But whatever frequency you want to be on, you have to be willing to get and stay on that frequency. And then you can have it all. Because if you follow this type of a process, if it’s if it’s not the speaking engagement, you can ask the question, what steps can I take today to support myself in having success, love, happiness and fulfillment?
00;19;21;23 – 00;19;45;16
Lauren Brollier Newton
Listen to the ideas that come to you. Have a willingness to take action on them. The answer is you really can have it all, but it is going to require you saying no to things and getting yourself on a different wavelength. One of my favorite stories about creating my highly successful, multi-million dollar, coaching business using these Brave Thinking Institute tools is, in July of 2021.
00;19;45;18 – 00;20;07;27
Lauren Brollier Newton
That was the month that, my husband Cameron and I, we weren’t married yet. We went to visit Lake Tahoe, and then we took that long road trip from San Francisco to, South Dakota and back that month of July. We got engaged in Lake Tahoe, actually at the beginning of that month, and we took it must have been at least a week, if not more, in, going on our road trip to South Dakota and back.

So that month of July, I probably worked out of the four weeks, like, let’s say normally we work five days a week out of four weeks of a month, right? So that’s 20 days of work. I probably worked like five full days that whole month in the year of 2021, that might was my highest producing income month. The second highest producing income month was the month I got married.
00;20;30;06 – 00;20;52;17
Lauren Brollier Newton
I was busy doing other things, but my business was falling. Why? Why does that work? Because I believed it could. That’s the simple answer. I believed it could because Mary and this faculty trained me so well that you can have it. Whatever you want to have, whatever you want to create, you just have to get your mind in alignment with it and then take the steps that come to your mind.
00;20;52;17 – 00;21;08;20
Lauren Brollier Newton
Take the steps that keep nudging at you and pulling at you and let go. Notice there’s no limited thinking here. I’m not thinking, oh, but am I good enough? Do I deserve it? No, I’m just going with it. Going with what I would love. I’m not getting caught up in, oh, you know, all the little stories that my mom wants to tell me.
00;21;08;20 – 00;21;34;26
Lauren Brollier Newton
It’s not that they weren’t there. I just wasn’t buying into them. Highest producing month. The month I only worked for a few days. Second highest producing month. The month I got married. Why did that happen? From 2019 to 2021, you can see I’m building my business in a way that feels good to me, that honors my values, that creates plenty of love and free time and all the other things that I want to do that feels fulfilling because I’m no, no, I’m helping people in ways that feel good to me, too.
00;21;34;26 – 00;21;51;18
Lauren Brollier Newton
Because here’s the other key there is no private good. It can’t be good for me and bad for everybody else. That’s not how this universe works. There’s one vibration of good. And if it feels good to me, truly good. Not like. Oh ha ha, I’m going to screw everybody else over so I can make my money. That doesn’t feel good.
00;21;51;18 – 00;22;10;23
Lauren Brollier Newton
That is not a vibration of good when it ultimately feels really good to you, and you know that you can still serve in ways you want to serve, and people are being helped by the work you do. And it’s a win win win for all. That is truly a vibration of good. So if it feels good to me, I trust that there is a way to serve in ways I want to serve.
00;22;10;26 – 00;22;29;12
Lauren Brollier Newton
Serve the clients, serve the business, serve my employees, do all the things in ways that feel really good to me and live a life I love to. There is a way for that. That is what it is folks. The vision comes first. What is fulfillment to you? What is happiness to you? What is success to you? You don’t want it all.
00;22;29;12 – 00;22;49;27
Lauren Brollier Newton
You want your version of all those words. And once you have that written down, back and front and left and right, you know what that vision is of having it all for you with a willingness to get rid of all the thoughts you’re thinking that don’t serve, that all the actions you’re taking that don’t serve, that all the people in your life that don’t serve that, and a willingness to cut that away.
00;22;50;00 – 00;23;11;18
Lauren Brollier Newton
Like the David, I just looked at it and I cut away everything that wasn’t David. And then you start sourcing ideas from the energy of your version of having it all. What step could I take today to fill in the blank, whether it’s 24 speaking engagements or only working five days in the month of July, but generating the most income you’ve ever generated or whatever it is.
00;23;11;21 – 00;23;27;21
Lauren Brollier Newton
But when you hear the idea, it might be scary. It was scary as hell. The thought of asking Michael to keynote an event when I’d never keynote in an event in my life, actually I did. I didn’t even think of this at the time. It’s so hilarious when your mind makes up a story, because in my mind I was like, I’ve never keynote anything.
00;23;27;24 – 00;23;45;24
Lauren Brollier Newton
The funny thing is, when I was a teacher, the California Teachers Association asked me if I would come speak at their like a little conference they were having. I wasn’t the keynote speaker, but they did ask me to speak. And it’s so funny. So funny how your mind won’t let you remember those kind of things when when you’re in freakout mode.
00;23;45;27 – 00;24;01;11
Lauren Brollier Newton
Sorry, I’m processing on the spot here, but I think this is helpful because when I was having the freak out about asking him to keynote, I didn’t even realize that there were some experiences in my life that I could have used as a, hey, you did this. Hey, you did that. Like I didn’t even think about. That’s hilarious.
00;24;01;14 – 00;24;22;19
Lauren Brollier Newton
But I still got myself to take the action. So there are going to be ideas that come to your mind that are different than your pattern of life right now, and your mind is going to try to make you think that you’ve never done anything to deserve or earn or whatever this idea is. Are you willing to say no to those old thought patterns so that you can go and live the life that you would absolutely love?
00;24;22;21 – 00;24;44;20
Lauren Brollier Newton
Because you can’t take everything with you? So I started this episode by saying the secret to having it all is knowing you already do. What does that mean? You have everything required to live a life you love right now, because you have your ability to co-create with the infinite. Those 19 speaking engagements, they were sitting right there with the contact I had.
00;24;44;23 – 00;25;00;04
Lauren Brollier Newton
Why didn’t he just reach out to me first? Because I wasn’t on the frequency of it could be that easy. But when I got on that frequency, I had what I wanted. And the part of where coaches go wrong up until now is you guys focus so much on the strategy. How do I track clients? How do I do this?
00;25;00;04 – 00;25;32;26
Lauren Brollier Newton
How do I do that? I’m not a good enough speaker. I need a bio, I need a website. And honestly, you don’t need that. What you need is the willingness and the ability to get on a frequency of the result you want. Now, if you want to be in a world where this is normal, where this is what we do, where we’re doing the brave thinking activation process, we’re doing the things that create this kind of a result where I had a faculty supporting me in thinking in this way and keeping my mind open to the possibility in building my business in this type of way.

I’ll see you in the next episode.
On this episode of The Abundant Coach, Lauren Brollier Newton dives into one of the most pressing questions for life coaches: “Can I truly have success, love, happiness, and fulfillment—all at the same time?” The answer might surprise you. Drawing from her personal journey, Lauren explores what “having it all” really means, how to identify your unique version of happiness and fulfillment, and why saying “no” to what doesn’t align is key to saying “yes” to the life of your dreams.
Lauren also reveals the mindset shifts and practical tools that helped her create a thriving, multi-million-dollar coaching business while working fewer hours and living in alignment with her values. You’ll learn how to cut away what doesn’t serve your vision, tap into your inner wisdom, and co-create with the infinite possibilities available to you. If you’re ready to step into the life you’ve always dreamed of, this episode is a must-listen.
Lauren begins by reframing what “having it all” actually entails. Contrary to societal expectations, having it all isn’t about acquiring every possible success—it’s about creating a life that aligns with your deepest values and dreams. Lauren shares a key insight: clarity is everything. When you know what happiness and fulfillment mean to you, it becomes easier to say no to distractions and yes to your vision.
Lauren highlights the importance of clarity in crafting your ideal life. Using examples from her own journey, she explains how to “try on” different possibilities, much like trying on outfits, to determine what feels expansive and life-giving. Whether it’s choosing where to live, how to work, or whom to serve, alignment is essential.
The secret isn’t about working harder—it’s about working smarter and staying connected to your vision. Lauren shares the story of how she secured 19 speaking engagements in a single day, not through hustle but by following a process called the Brave Thinking Activation. This practice involves asking high-caliber questions, brainstorming ideas, and acting on the one that feels most expansive, even when it’s scary.
Success doesn’t come from doing it all; it comes from letting go of what doesn’t serve you. Lauren shares the metaphor of Michelangelo sculpting The David: “I simply cut away everything that wasn’t David.” To achieve happiness and fulfillment, you must cut away the beliefs, actions, and even people that don’t align with your vision.
Lauren emphasizes the power of co-creation with the universe. She explains how tuning into the right “frequency” can unlock unexpected opportunities. Whether it’s a single meeting leading to massive results or a small action that creates a ripple effect, trusting your intuition and taking bold action are the keys to unlocking success.
