Before attending DreamBuilder LIVE, Dr. Carol Currier was so busy taking care of others in her medical practice, she had no time left over to care for herself.
While she was comfortable in her profession, and inhabiting the role of a doctor, she worked long hours and had begun to dream of selling her practice.
Whenever she took off the “white coat,” she had so much social anxiety she couldn’t feel at ease in her own skin. She described her social life as almost “non-existent,” and while her doctor’s income would be a dream for many, she had no time to enjoy any of it!
All of this contributed to a life of anxiety and isolation for Carol. She struggled in this place for years. Then, she received a wake-up call. Her sister was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer, and her perspective on her own life shifted immediately.
She realized there was no time to lose and decided to attend DreamBuilder LIVE for support.
“There’s this moment in DreamBuilder LIVE where we get the opportunity to continue working with Mary… I’m sitting there thinking, ‘I really like this feeling. I really like what is happening.’ So I enrolled into Brave Thinking Masters Platinum.”
Brave Thinking Masters Platinum gave Carol the tools she needed to start creating the life she really wanted.
It was during her first Alpha Omega Retreat that she clarified a major milestone on the path to her dream life: to sell her practice for $500,000.
…and only days later, she received a $1.2 million offer for her practice!
Now, three years later, Carol lives a completely different life – one in which she has all the time she needs to take care of herself as much as she used to care for others. In her spare time, she travels around the world to practice medicine where it’s desperately needed, in countries like Nicaragua and Ecuador.
She also recently fulfilled her lifelong dream of traveling to Borneo to see orangutans, and Tanzania, to meet Jane Goodall and work with chimpanzees!
“I don’t know where I’d be without the support that I received from staff and from fellow DreamBuilders,” she says. “The greatest thing of all has been the experience of working with a loving, non-judgemental, non-competitive group of people.”
