Life Coach Certification FAQ’s

Q: Is your life coach certification accredited?

A: There is no official governing body or accreditation process for the life coaching industry. While there are several organizations that have worked to ensure excellence in coaching (iPEC, the International Coaching Federation ICF, and others), we have not partnered with any of those organizations at this time.

We recognize the value in the oversight and training that they offer. However, the training programs at Brave Thinking Institute are some of the most comprehensive programs available. We have ensured that our training programs far exceed any proposed industry-standard guidelines available.

Q: Is your life coach certification online or in-person? Can I complete it while working full time?

A: Both of our certification programs are primarily conducted online- both through always-accessible training videos and downloadable resources, and in the form of live virtual training with our world-renowned faculty. You can complete the program requirements from anywhere.

Both of our programs do include the opportunity for in-person training and events with Mary and her faculty, but we pride ourselves on having created comprehensive, in-depth programs that are also flexible. Many of our coaches have either transitioned from other careers or have continued with their original careers while coaching.

Q: I see you offer a lot of curriculums to your coaches. Won’t those put me in a box and limit the kind of work I can do as a coach?

A: The short answer is, no!

Our programs include complete, done-for-you curriculums because we’ve learned that repeatable, proven, and easy-to-implement coaching programs lead to the highest levels of success. However, all of our coaching programs are completely customizable and taught in addition to transformational coaching techniques, practical coaching resources, 1×1 feedback and support, and business-building skills
